Brief Description Fotodesn is a worm that spreads by mailing itself out to all of the contacts in the infected computer's address book. The file that carries the worm is called CERTIFICATE.PDF.EXE and shows a gif file icon in order to make the user think that it is a photograph. This worm has a destructive payload, which includes deleting files with certain extensions or formatting the affected computer's hard disk.

Effects
Fotodesn has the following effects:
It deletes files with any of the following extensions: SCR, TTF, XLS, DOC, DWG, MP3, CDX, BMP, HTM, HLP, CHM, JPG, CDR, MDB, DBF, ICO, BAK and GIF.
It formats the computer's hard disk.
- When the user runs the attached file, a pornographic picture is displayed.
